Originally from the UK, I have been living in Switzerland for the past 10 years. I completed my Master’s in Sustainable Development here in Basel, where I particularly focused on sustainable agriculture within the natural science pathway. For my thesis, I studied the cultivation of duckweed using cattle slurry while preventing the growth of cyanobacteria.
I currently work on the educational side of the Sustainability Department, contributing to the development of an online course that brings together many elements of the Sustainability program.
Personally, I am very interested in conservation and rewilding, and I have been involved in several small-scale projects related to these topics. Alongside this, I have gained experience in sustainability-focused event organisation, communication, and marketing. I also bring over ten years of teaching experience, which has shaped my approach to education and outreach within sustainability.
