We address this broad topic through various projects that span different landscapes and species, utilizing a diverse set of tools. Current projects focus on using a combination of landscape, population and movement ecology tools to assess: 1) how changes in livestock management (intensification) are modifying landscape patterns and carrion availability in the Duero Basin (Spain), and what the implications of these changes are for the conservation of vultures and other endangered raptors and 2) how (and if) the expansion of large-scale photovoltaic infrastructure is changing the behavior of large raptor species.
